Payment and terms questions
Is there a minimum contract length?
Yes, the minimum contract length is 12 months, regardless of whether you choose a set-up fee or a payment plan. After the initial 12 months, the contract transitions to a month-to-month agreement, paid in advance for the following 30 days. You can view our service agreement for more information.
What happens if I want to terminate my agreement during the initial 12-month contract period?
If you'd like to terminate your agreement during the initial 12-month contract period, you will be required to settle the remaining fees as outlined in the contract. For more information, please view our service agreement.
If I terminate my agreement, do I get access to my website?
Absolutely. If you terminate your agreement, we will create a Zip file containing your website and database to download. Please note that we use several premium WordPress plugins, which will require you to obtain your own licences. Most of these plugins incur an additional cost that you will need to pay directly to the plugin vendor. Feel free to contact us for any further information.
What payment methods does Pillar & Scroll accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We plan to expand our payment options in the future.
What currencies does Pillar & Scroll accept?
We accept Australian Dollars (AUD), New Zealand Dollars (NZD), US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), Singapore Dollars (SGD) and Canadian Dollars (CAD). Our website uses technology to detect your location and displays prices in your local currency.

Where is Pillar & Scroll’s website hosting located?
We use WP Engine for website hosting. You can select a data centre in the US, UK or Australia, with additional locations anticipated in the future. By default, we will choose the data centre closest to your law firm's headquarters unless you request otherwise. If you require an alternative website host location, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Does Pillar & Scroll offer bespoke functionality?
Through our affiliated marketing agency, Toro Digital, we offer custom website development services tailored to your specific needs. We can provide a personalised quote based on your requirements. However, please note that specific requests may not be compatible with a Pillar & Scroll website.

Yes, add-ons can be set-up after your website launches. However, adding these features post-launch will attract a set-up fee.

Does the insights and news add-on include email marketing and social media campaigns?
We do not offer email marketing or social media services at this stage. However, we plan to offer these additional services soon.
Are fees for external emails included?
The insights and news add-on does not cover fees associated with external email marketing platforms. However, we can set up a subscription form using our preferred platform, Campaign Monitor, ensuring a seamless experience.
Events and webinars add-on
Are email marketing and social media campaigns included in event invitations and reminders?
Not at this stage; however, we plan to offer email marketing and social media campaigns for invitations and reminders as additional services in the near future.
Are transaction fees for Stripe included in your costs?
If you wish to accept payments using Stripe, please note that they charge a transaction fee that is not included in our costs. Stripe automatically deducts their fee before transferring the payment to your nominated bank account.
Can you integrate with alternate payment gateways?
We can facilitate integration with alternative payment gateways, although this may necessitate additional customisation and support. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss this further.
Are costs related to hosting an event or webinar, such as Zoom Webinars, included?
Costs related to hosting an event or webinar, such as Zoom webinars, are separate from our package. These services usually have their own fees that need to be managed independently.
Job posts and board add-on

No. Email marketing and social media campaigns for open job opportunities will be available as additional services soon.
Are external advertising expenses for promoting job opportunities included?
Our package does not include any external advertising expenses for promoting job opportunities. These external costs must be managed separately.
